Brett Golden, President and co-founder of The Chart Lab (a provider of quantitative advice solutions for retail and institutional investors), is one of many investors convinced that Apple will release a phablet. This is huge news for investors, who have been looking to China (specifically China Mobile) for growth. With 700 million subscribers, China Mobile could provide Apple with some incredible sales opportunities. President Obama recently said that he is not allowed to use the iPhone because of unspecified security reasons.He is allowed to use an iPad, however. The new machine has sold more than 2.1 million units globally. Expect another sales spike to occur when the console is released in Japan in February. Until then, PlayStation 4 is likely to continue selling well through the holiday shopping season. Disney's (NYSE: DIS) Frozen came in second place with $93 million. This weekend, Catching Fire is expected to maintain its first-place rank for the third week in a row.
